It was an amazing tour to Leh Ladakh with luxury hotels. Hotel Grand Dragon in Leh, Stone Hedge hotel in Nubra valley in Hunder and Misty Hills cabins at Pangong lake are amazing. The taxi and driver were fantastic. The meals served at hotels was tasty. All places included in the package were beautiful.

Enjoyed this trip without complaint. My wife had some breathing issues at Pangong lake, and she was moved to a health centre in the night time. But she was ok and could resume journey to Hanle and Umling La pass. The support and the help was outstanding. The trip was not possible without help from discover leh ladakh team.

Only nubra to pangong lake main road was blocked due to rise in shyok river water after melting of snow. So our driver took us through Warila pass road which is little longer but beautiful. This complete Leh Ladakh tour package was amazing and well organized for my family. We enjoyed the scenery of Ladakh. All part of Leh Ladakh which was included in our itinerary was beautiful. We had cancelled this trip after Kashmir terror attack and Indo-Pak tension. But our travel agent (Mr Suresh) convinced us not to cancel it. We rebooked the flight and ladakh tour package for May. There were still so many cancellations and everybody was asking us not to take risk with family. Mr Suresh continued stressing on the completing the trip without problem and assured of 100% refund even if we cancel after arrival. Then he asked us not to pay a single rupee for confirmation and said we can pay only if we complete our trip. We listened to him and his confidence and finally reached Leh on 16th May. And for our surprise, everything was normal. There was no tourist crowd and the weather was amazing. We enjoyed this trip with Hanle and Umling la pass. We are still not over it. We offered to pay Rs 10,000 extra as sign of gratitude but Mr Suresh refused to accept it. Ladakh is beautiful not only for its landscapes but also for its people. A must visit place. We have already planned our Zanskar valley trip in Ladakh next season.

I did a solo travel (female) from USA with DiscoverLadakh in mid march 2025. I compared the prices with 2 other famous tour operators. First of all, March is off season and there is snow still in Ladakh. Other operators quoted higher prices. With DiscoverLadakh, the itinerary was provided to me based on my requirements along with prices and hotels to choose from. The paperwork was done on whatsapp. Instructions on do’s and don’ts were provided which I followed to the ‘T’.
From the moment I arrived in Leh, Nazir (driver) was prompt, courteous and friendly. I never felt alone or ackward as we travelled for 4-5 days in Innova. He provided helpful suggestions, stayed back when I took pictures, chatted when appropriate. He stopped the car when requested for lunch/ bathroom breaks (when a town approached). Mr. Sharma stayed in touch with me on Whatsapp. Panggong Lake was -20c and frozen when I visited. The family where I stayed in PangTso House was very courteous.
It was very cold when I visited, but I saw Ladakh like few others. Very quiet, serene and all to myself.

I am taking a moment to thank Discover Leh Ladakh team for making my Ladakh tour memorable. Although the trip was very short as we could afford only four days out of the busy schedule. Despite this, our trip was designed in such a way that we did not suffer altitude sickness, and visited most of the major places like Pangong lake, Leh, changla pass, thiksey, city, magnetic hill, sangam, leh palace, shanti stupa etc. Everything was planned professionally. It was winter time and we were provided with cozy rooms with heating facility. Our car had good winter tyres with anti-skid winter tyres which treaded through snow and ice at Chang la pass. The Pangong lake was frozen and we had experience of walking on the frozen lake. Thank you again.

Honestly I didn’t like Puga so much as the entire area is boggy and it looks beautiful only in the pictures. However, other parts of Ladakh are extremely beautiful. Our trip went smooth without any problem. Hotels, taxi, driver, meal everything was just fantastic. We loved Pangong, Tsomoriri, Nubra, Khardungla, Leh very much. If you are visiting Tsomoriri or Hanle, you should visit Puga valley as its close to this route; otherwise you may avoid planning a day especially for Puga. Tenzin from Discover Leh Ladakh had told us about all this in advance but we forced to visit puga after we went mad about it following insta reels and photos.

Best winter trip to Ladakh. We enjoyed it a lot. The road was dangerous at changla pass where our car slipped on snow. But driver saved car. It was a narrow call but full of adventure. Ladakh looks beautiful after snowfall. We had no problem in cold. Car was warm. Hotel had heating system. Come for longer time to enjoy winter. Bring heavy jackets and warm clothes. Regular clothes are useless in ladakh.

Let’s start with hotel. All hotels at Leh, Hunder and Pangong were warm and cosy even as outside temperature was below minus 15 degrees Celsius. Meal was mouth watering. Car was in good condition and had snow chain wrapping around tyres to get better traction on snow and ice. The driver was jolly but friendly and experienced. Out tour coordinator was available 24*7 to talk to us and he kept check on us to make sure our trip was going smoothly. The sightseeing places were extraordinary and other-worldly. Enjoyed this short but adventurous trip to beautiful Ladakh in January. Full of chill and thrill, this was for the first time that we experienced such a low temperature when it was as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius. I will give 10 out of 5 for this amazing trip. Winters in Ladakh are very harsh and winter tour packages to Leh Ladakh are not for all. We were very scared as we had mistakenly booked non-refundable flight tickets to Leh in December. And then we came to know about most hotels remaining closed in Ladakh in winter time as very few people dare to visit in extreme cold when all water sources get freezed and hotels are forced to shut operations. Then we talked to Mr. Suresh who guided us honestly and ensured about our safety. To our surprise, we were able to see this part of our country in completely different look. It was more than just beautiful. We will say it was out accidental trip to Ladakh in December which became the best trip of our life. We shall never forget it.
