As we always say weather in Ladakh is unpredictable. Your sightseeing tours will continue in all weather conditions as staying at hotel for a day means you have one less day to cover remaining places.
Still, if we feel that travelling is unsafe due to extreme weather conditions like heavy snowfall, icy conditions, landslides or flash floods, we may have to cancel/postpone the travel (whichever is the best option).
Sometime snowfall and landslide block the road mostly near Khardungla pass and Changla pass. In that condition, we are helpless as nobody is beyond nature.
If your travel is safe during bad weather, it’s ok to go for an adventure.
The cold deserts of Ladakh witness extreme cold in winter months (November to March), moderate cold in October and April and pleasant weather from May to September.
